Festival of Lights Celebration
Experience cultural dances and more with your family during Festival of Lights, Presented by the Janta Sewa Group with support from the City’s Diversity & Inclusion Commission. Celebrated by Hindus, Jains, Sikhs, and Buddhists; although for each faith it marks different historical events and stories, light represents the symbolic victory over darkness, knowledge over ignorance, selfless service, helping the helpless, and good over evil.
Elk Grove Food Bank
As part of our commitment to give back to our community, on this auspicious occasion of Diwali, Janta Sewa Group made a monetary donation to the Elk Grove Food Bank Services 2020 Turkey Drive. Several of our members also made personal donations of cash or much needed groceries. We are ready to help you!
